I am thrilled to invite you to a series of FREE group online practice sessions which I am hosting on Tuesday lunchtimes from 12.30pm to 1.20pm via Zoom.
Following a welcome and outline of the session, participants will set their audio input to mute, and dedicate some time to personal practice – whether than be singing/ repertoire/ choir practice, or something else. The group music practice sessions are designed to give you a timetabled practice session in your week so you have something in the diary to commit to, while being part of a wider online community. We have chosen 50 minutes so that you can take part during your lunch break, be that from a park, café, home or office.
- When: Most Tuesdays, starting from 6th February
- Time: 12.30pm to 1.20pm
- Platform: Zoom
Research has shown that group practice and accountability significantly contribute to individual improvement, and these sessions are open to all. This is an opportunity to elevate your musical abilities, connect with like-minded individuals, and share in the collective energy of group practice.
- Welcome and brief introduction
- Silent group music practice
- Group sharing and reflections
Please note the practice is self guided – Hannah will moderate the group and lead the opening and closing reflections and there will be a little bit of time for us to come off mute at the end and share our observations, but participants will be working on your own study (i.e. it’s not a choir rehearsal and there won’t be feedback – there will be people here who may be practising guitar, for example, or studying rep for a music exam).
Bring your instrument, vocal exercises, or any musical activity that benefits from concentrated focus. Whether you’re a seasoned musician or just starting, this session is tailored to provide a supportive space for all levels of expertise.
Book your FREE place now and the Zoom link will be emailed to you.
